Diagram of existence

I see it as 3 separate distinct realities – Physical, Conscious, and Concept

I’ve tried to find a way to graphically represent how I see my existence…not getting very far. At first I thought I could represent existence with a Venn diagram, but I’m not sure any of these really overlap.

Physical – everything I can touch of see

Conscious – Me – this is where I’m at…I see into the Physical and Concept, but I don’t exist in either universe. I can see into the other universes and describe what I see, but I can’t enter into either of them

Concept – the universe of ideas, axioms, and invention – mathematics exist here and has always existed here and will exist forever. The way I see it is where could the rules of mathematics exist in the physical world? Its not in the math books, I could destroy a math book and it wouldn’t have any effect on 1+1=2. The whole world could be destroyed and the principles of mathematics would continue.

Every invention that exists or will ever exist is here. They could have built super computers back in Caesar’s time…the concept existed but they couldn’t focus in on the idea.

Focusing in on a concept – There is no such thing as an original idea, because all ideas are based on other ideas combinations of ideas. If it were possible to have a completely original idea, you wouldn’t be able to understand the idea because you would have nothing to compare it to, its like this or that, its made up of these parts.

Example – Desk – a combination of a chair and a table, if you didn’t know what a chair was or a table you wouldn’t understand the concept of a desk.

This universe has no space no time, its everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

….just some stuff I’ve been thinking about lately

Guy Fawkes

Guy Fawkes and The Gunpowder Plot fascinates me…it was one of those pivotal moments in history, if the plot would have succeeded the world would be quite a bit different today, and according to this article the face of London would look quite a bit different too.

It funny they still celebrate November the 5th in England…I’m not sure if they are celebrating Fawkes’ execution or honoring his attempt to do away with the government.

RxDepot shutdown

The Food and Drug Administration is protecting us from unsafe drugs from Canada. It’s a shame the Canadian government doesn’t care as much about its citizens and the FDA cares about Americans. We don’t have to worry about our senior citizens getting hooked on cheap prescription drugs because the FDA cares. Something we can all be proud of, the FDA. (this is sarcasm…in case you didn’t catch that)

I speculate as to where this will lead. A new war on drugs…prescription drugs, senior citizens filling up an already overcrowded prison system after getting busted smuggling Ticlid and Zocor into the US. No I don’t really think it’ll end up that way, the elderly are too powerful politically. Expect this to be a huge issue in the next Presidential/Congressional elections.

There is some similarity to this problem and file sharing on the internet. The genie is out of the bottle. These people will not go back to spending hundreds of dollars more a month for medicine. Huge industry faced with loosing their antitrust business model and there isn’t anything they can do that will stop it from happening.

Songfacts

This site has trivia about a ton of songs…popup video kinda stuff

Example from songfacts

Across The Sea by Weezer

This is about a Japanese fan who wrote a letter to lead singer Rivers Cuomo after hearing Weezer on the radio. Cuomo responded to her letter with this song. In this song, Rivers tells of his obsession for the Japanese fan who wrote the letter. “…So I sniff and I lick your envelope and fall to little pieces every time. I wonder what clothes you wear to school, I wonder how you decorate your room, I wonder how you touch yourself and curse myself for being across the sea….” (thanks, Joseph – salt lake city, UT)

Jesus Wife

Monday ABC will air “Jesus, Mary and Da Vinci”. The show is about research showing Jesus had a wife. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this before. There are a lot of strong arguments to support the case that Jesus had a wife.

Here is what I’ve been able to gather so far…

1. No mention in the bible of married or single status, so why is it universally assumed never married?
2. If Jesus was a Rabbi, followers addressed him as Rabbi (he was allowed to read and interpret the scripture); a Rabbi had to have a wife?
3. Jewish law would have mandated that a man Jesus’ age would have to be married.

Anyway….I’m sure just posing the question will get a bunch of bible thumpers up in arms. I just love the controversy ideas like these cause.
