ive been dying to try out ethernet over powerlines…the homeplug stuff, the price was finally right 15$ after rebate at newegg
i tried em out at work first and was kinda disappointed, the range is similar to wireless, the further away you get the slower you network speed is, the building i work in has 4 floors and i was able to get a connection on all of them
home is the key word in homeplug, everywhere in my house i can get a good speed 12meg being the lowest, at work though i had some speeds as low as .9meg
